The Town of Pittsford and Brian Moorman's PUNT Foundation are teaming up to sponsor the 5th annual Pittsford Triathlon. The PUNT Foundation supports children in Western New York with life-threatening illnesses. Brian Moorman, his wife Amber and Buffalo Bills teammate Rian Lindell will compete individually in this year's triathlon.

The Pittsford Tri, set for Sunday, June 1 at Thornell Farm Park, has become a northeast regional sporting attraction with 275 athletes participating in last years race. The event consists of a 300-yard swim, a 15-mile ride and a 5K run. A complimentary meal and gift bag will be provided to all racers. Awards will be presented to the top 3 overall finishers (male and female) and the top 3 men and women in each age category. Individual entry fee is $45; team fee is $90.

Registrations will be accepted through the morning of the race. Registration opens on Monday, 3/17, online or in person at the Spiegel Community Center, 35 Lincoln Avenue. An alternate online registration site is at www.active.com. Participants must pick up their Information Packet at the community center on Saturday, 5/31, 9AM - 3PM.

Event parking is available at Pittsford Mendon High School, 472 Pittsford-Mendon Road. Please use the west parking lot adjacent to the football field.

PUNT Foundation Walk-A-Thon

Join the action at the Pittsford Triathlon in a non-competitive walk-a-thon to support the Brian Moorman PUNT Foundation. Held in conjunction with the Pittsford Triathlon, the walk-a-thon will take place on Sunday, 6/1, 10AM at Thornell Farm Park. The PUNT Foundation was founded in 2004 by Buffalo Bills punter Brian Moorman and his wife, Amber to make a difference in the lives of children in Western New York who face serious health challenges. Come cheer on Brian and teammate Rian Lindell who will be participating in the Pittsford Triathlon.

Support the PUNT Foundation by participating in the 1.3 mile walk (2 laps around the Thornell Farm Park path). We invite you to download a pledge form or pick one up at the Spiegel Community Center, Town Hall or Library. All pledges will be collected the morning of the event.

The festival season gets underway in Pittsford on Saturday, 6/14. Our first summer event - Positively Pittsford – is set for tomorrow 12N in the State Street municipal parking lots. The festival’s main stage will feature music throughout the day. Festival food and refreshments, dessert crepes, chicken barbecue, Steve and Al's steakout, and more tasty treats will be served up. Wegmans will feature cooking demonstrations and samplings. Families and children, teens and adults will be delighted by the activities, attractions and entertainment at Positively Pittsford.

The Town of Pittsford's annual end-of-summer festival, "Pittsford Celebrates," will be held Saturday, 9/13, 12N – 9PM in the State Street municipal parking lots adjacent to the Erie Canal. Music, food, and family amusements available throughout the day. On stage at 6PM, Rochester’s own Nik & the Nice Guys will perform party tunes and dance hits leading up to a brilliant fireworks display at 9PM.
