PUBLIC WORKS – BUILDINGS MAINTENANCE

The primary objective of the Building Maintenance group is to maintain the Town's facilities including the Spiegel Community Center, the Community Library, Town Hall, the lodges at King's Bend Park, Mile Post School, DPW operations centers, and other sites - a total of 13 throughout the town. A staff of seven full-time and two part-time individuals accomplish this work.

In addition to the daily cleaning of each facility, routine and preventative maintenance are performed so that residents can be assured each building is clean, safe and in good working order.

Building Maintenance staff is also available to assist the Library and Recreation departments and Town Hall staff in setting up rooms for public use.
